LAKESIDE, Ohio – July 20, 2007 – Lakeside will become the center of a “hunt” Saturday, August 25, as area collectors converge at the 47th Annual Antique Show and Sale, featuring several vendors. As in past years, antique vendors will be scattered throughout the grounds in three separate buildings in addition to the shady lawn at the site. The show will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. in South Auditorium, Wesley Lodge, and Wo-Ho-Mis, a building located directly across from Wesley Lodge.

Items offered for sale this year will include chinaware, glassware, furniture, fine and costume jewelry, Native American items, kitchen items, cookie jars, postcards, pottery, area memorabilia, traditional linens, vintage clothing, Depression glass, dolls, toys, and more! No early buying will be allowed.

The cost is $5 per person, which allows customers five hours to view the show and also visit the community. Persons already in the Lakeside gate are not required to pay a fee to attend the antique show.

Lakeside is a gated Chautauqua community, nurturing mind, body, and spirit for generations. It is located between Cleveland and Toledo on Lake Erie’s south shore. Access to the Lakeside grounds includes a one-day visitor’s pass $15 (adults), $10.50 (youth ages 10-18), and children under 10 are always free. There also is a required parking pass of $6 at the gate. Visitors can find more information about Lakeside and its summer scheduling program with a visit to www.lakesideohio.com or by calling 1-866-9LAKESIDE. Lakeside, life simplified.

While this article is 2 years old, it explains the admission, parking, etc.to attend the Antique Show while the Lakeside website does not explain what the costs are. Thanks, this was helpful.
