St. John\’s Jesuit High School and Academy kicks off the 2007-08 St. John Berchmans Lecture Series with Dr. Cathy Hamilton. Traveling the nation, Dr. Hamilton speaks from her head and her heart about the research on poverty as it impacts student achievement, knowing that an understanding and knowledge of the culture of generational poverty can assist everyone in bridging the achievement gap, better insuring school success for all children.
