Pamela Howland to Perform in UT’s Dorothy MacKenzie Price Piano Series

The University of Toledo is proud to welcome pianist Pamela Howland as part of The Dorothy MacKenzie Price Piano Series. Her recital is Sunday, September 30 at 3 p.m. in the Center for Performing Arts Recital Hall on main campus at UT. The recital is free and open to the public.
Trained at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the Eastman School of Music, where she received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature, Howland has performed numerous recitals in the US and abroad–in Paris, Vienna, a tour of Colombia, South America, live solo appearances on National Public Radio broadcasts in Minnesota, New York and North Carolina. She has also produced ten CDs in the last ten years. Her recordings include an eclectic mix of classical solo piano programs, Christmas music recordings, a collaborative disc of African-American Spirituals, and a French poetry/music collaboration.
