Glass City Singles Main Event Halloween Dance
We at Glass City Singles are very excited to be celebrating our
24th year of Toledo’s largest singles Halloween Bash and Dance.
Last year’s Halloween party generated a crowd of over 300 singles
with two hundred of them dressing in costumes to scare or make
you laugh! This year we have teamed up with Kostume, LTD to give
us a 10% discount on all rental costumes from a coupon obtained
from the Glass City Singles Friday night singles Dance. Kostume,
LTD will to be judging the costumes. There will be three categories of prizes given out. At the Friday October 26th Halloween
Bash, there will be the opening prizes and four prizes given out for the top four best
costumes. This year we are donating one dollar of the admission price to cancer
research in memory of two of our members that died from cancer last year. What is
Halloween all about? It affords you an opportunity to stay undercover in a costume
of your choice, although not mandatory, but there will be a costume competition
with four great prizes. Janet Amid will be one of our featured guests. This year’s
Main Event will be held at the Maumee Elks, 139 Wayne St., Maumee. Our singles
dances are smoke-free, free snacks and free parking.
At this year’s Main Event the doors will open at 7:00 p.m. with soft background
music until 7:30 p.m. The singles Halloween Main Event will Run from 7:30 p.m.
until Midnight. That’s Friday October 26th, and there will be no dance instruction.
So, come to the greatest party in Northern Ohio and Southern Michigan and plan
on having some fun. Good times—-guaranteed! And for an
admission fee of only $10.00, less then going to the movies.
