LAKESIDE, Ohio – September 27, 2007 – Lakeside’s life and activities are growing far beyond the nine weeks of the summer Chautauqua season. The Fall Festival is one of the growing traditions that continue to support Lakeside. Celebrating its 6th year, the Fall Festival will be held in Lakeside on Saturday, October 6, 2007. The excitement begins at 12 noon and will progress into the evening, concluding at 5 p.m.

The festival will include a variety of exciting activities for the entire family to enjoy:

Pie Contest
Pie Auction & Sale
Soup & Sandwich Lunch
Live Entertainment
Corn Hole Tournament
Pumpkin & Cookie Decorating
Free Hayrides
Face Painting
Free Historic Walking Tour
Free Miniature Golf
Family Movie, “Evan Almighty”
Free Shuffleboard

And much more!

The Fall Festival will open its entertainment series at 1 p.m. with Tony Schaffer and Noah Heyman. This pair of young singer/songwriters from Sandusky, Ohio will perform a dynamic array of music including songs from The Beatles, James Taylor and Simon & Garfunkel.

The entertainment will continue at 2 p.m. with a show by magician Greg Carson. Carson specializes in making his performances unforgettable. His magic combines comedy and mystery, guaranteed to generate laughter and excitement.

Musician Lance Horwedel will close the Fall Festival entertainment series at 3 p.m. He will bring his guitar and love of classic rock to Lakeside once again. His repertoire includes music from Crosby, Stills & Nash, Fleetwood Mac and other groups of the 60s and 70s.

Take a fall break with the family in Lakeside on Saturday, October 6, 2007. It is guaranteed to be a day full of family fun and entertainment. Unlike the summer, guests will be able to enjoy the beauty of Lakeside without a gate pass.
