This haunting annual event is a favorite of even the tiniest ghosts and goblins. The halls of COSI will be packed with witches, superheroes, animals and cartoon characters as we welcome them all to our annual Spooky Science. Bring the whole family, grandma and grandpa, too, for these especially spooky weekends of ghoulish demonstrations, chilling activities and an all around frightening good time. Make monster slime, bend pipe cleaners into Halloween characters, and get a fake wound. Plus, venture through COSI’s Haunted Lab, if you dare!
Introducing! COSI’s Haunted Laboratory
COSI’s Haunted Laboratory is a twist on this season’s classic Haunted House. We’ve designed this Haunted House to explain the science behind the scary. With all the usual characters present, minus the blood and gore, visitors will step inside a witches’ kitchen, walk through a Black Forest, peer deep into fun house mirrors and meander through a creepy cemetery, all while on your way to Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory. Once you’ve made it through, we’ll explain how we did it. Open on Spooky Science days only!
