The renowned saxophone quartet Sax 4th Avenue will present the inaugural concert in the newly-formed Chamber Music Toledo’s 2007-2008 Artist Series, Sunday November 4th at the Maumee Indoor Theater, 601 Conant Street in uptown Maumee, Ohio.
Formed in 1991, Sax 4th Avenue has entertained audiences throughout the Midwest with its unique brand of virtuosity, showmanship, and humor. This high-energy performance will feature the classics of Bach, Beethoven, and Bizet; the progressive rock of King Crimson; and original compositions by Maurice JeanJean, Stephen Rush, Philip Glass, Bob Mintzer, and Pete Ford.
Tickets are $12 general admission, $5 for college students, and $1 for 18 and under; and can be purchased by calling the Toledo Symphony box office at 419.246.8000, and will be available at the door.
