TOLEDO, Oh., Oct. 23 — The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio
will host its 16th Annual Wine Affair: Sweet
Sixteen…Friendship Uncorked on Friday, November 16 at the
Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg.
This wine tasting gala invites guests to sample rare, fine
wines in a luxurious atmosphere. The event also allows for
guests to bid on fine wine and art in both the live and silent
auctions. This special evening will begin with the wine
tasting, hors d’oeuvres and the silent auction at 6:30 p.m. A
Wine Affair will conclude at 11:00 p.m.
A Wine Affair is one of the Kidney Foundation’s largest
fundraisers, with 100 percent of the proceeds staying in
Northwest Ohio. The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio is a
local agency serving more than 3,500 men, women and children
affected by kidney disease in a 20 county area. Funds raised
during A Wine Affair will help to continue patient assistance
programs such as transportation to and from dialysis, temporary
financial assistance with renal medications, proper renal
nutrition, medical supplies, as well as help during emergency
situations. This event will also help to continue patient,
public and professional education programs.
The Kidney Foundation is expecting over 400 guests to attend
the fundraiser, A Wine Affair. This brings great hope to all
those affiliated with the Kidney Foundation and the services in
which it provides to those in Northwest Ohio.
Tickets for A Wine Affair are on sale now. Tickets can be
purchased by contacting Shelly Evans, the Event Coordinator at
the Kidney Foundation Office. Tickets purchased now until
October 31st will be on sale for $75.00 each. Starting November
1st, tickets will be on sale for $85.00 each.
