The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is tumbling with joy to announce that its Kids Place page at toledolibrary.org is the place to go if your young person loves books. Kids Place offers exciting ways for youngsters to interact with books, and it’s all free!

Take TumbleBooks ™, an online collection of e-books to watch, hear and read plus play puzzles and games based on selected Tumble titles.

There’s also BookFLIX, where kids can watch and read along to a video storybook from Weston Woods (creates audiovisual adaptations of children’s picture books). Then they can read and listen to a related non-fiction book from Scholastic Books in nine categories including Animals and Nature, People and Places, Family and Community and six others. Here, kids can also play games based on the books, read about the authors, and explore related Web sites to the topic. Accessing BookFLIX from home requires a Library card and pin number. Both TumbleBooks ™ and BookFLIX have books available in Spanish!

To get your young person enjoying these exciting features, log on today to toledolibrary.org – once there click on the Kids Place icon on the site’s home page – then click on the interactive TumbleBooks ™ and BookFLIX icon on the right side of the screen. Once there you’ll find an amazing book list for the Pre-K through middle school age group. Kids Place is safe, interactive, free and loads of fun. Log on today!
