The Village Players at 2740 Upton Avenue are preparing to delight audiences with another memorable production, “Let’s Murder Marsha” by Monk Ferris. This little comedy will delight everyone but particularly those with a thirst for a murder mystery.

Pat Mahoney directs this little gem that is set in a Manhattan penthouse where we meet Marsha Gilmore (Marcia Weisenburger), who is consumed by murder mysteries. Her millionaire wall street husband Tobias (Zac Gilley) dislikes her “hobby” so Marsha hides her obsession. While hiding Marsha overhears a conversation that misleads her to believe that her husband plans to kill her. She must find a way to turn the tables before that happens. BUT, the surprise is on her!

The rest of the zany cast includes, the maid, Bianca(Amanda Ramirez); Interior Decorator, Persis DeVore (Sara Speelman); the bland neighbor, Virgil Baxter (Keith Daniel); Marsha’s mother (Diana West) and Bianca’s boyfriend (Ian Alberts).

The show runs from Friday, February 29, 2008 through March 15, 2008. Show time are at 8 p.m. except for the 2:00 Matinees on Sunday, March 2nd. The price of admission is $14 or $12 for students or seniors.
