Posted Apr 2nd, 2008 by Julius Jones  Category: General Interests, Toledo.com

African-American engineers in this region have organized to form the Northwest Ohio Alumni Extension Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), a 37-year-old national organization

The highlights of this organization — according to the NSBE mission statement — are to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

Any engineer interested in NSBE is invited to a social outing for engineers to meet, greet, and organize the group on April 10 at 6pm at Southwyck Bowling Lanes, 5255 Heatherdowns Blvd.
