Kids World Ohio Elite All-Star Cheerleaders traveled to Chicago, IL for the AmeriCheer Great Lakes National Championship April 5th. Kids World entered the Great Lakes National Championship with their Senior Level 3, Youth Level 3 and Pee-Wee Level 1.
Kids World Senior Level 3 and Kids World Youth Level 3 both took 1st place in their division winning the National Championships award. In order to win the AmeriCheer National Championship you had to take 1st place and score 80% or higher and both Senior and Youth was able to secure their placement. Both teams had a strong performance that they worked hard on and perfected for the past 9 months.
Kids World Pee-Wee Level 1 took 2nd place in their division. The Pee-Wee division performed the best routine of the season and also worked hard perfecting the routine over the past 9 months. The Pee-Wee division deserves a “Standing Ovation” for their performance. The Pee-Wee Level 1 is made up of girls ages 6-9.
The AmeriCheer Great Lakes National Championship was a one-day event, where each team competed twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The better of the two scores is what qualified teams for placement.
