Toledo’s premiere health awareness event, The Day of Healing, will take place at the SeaGate Centre on November 15, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This free public event will guide individuals towards integrating the mind, body, and spirit, staying healthy, and avoiding illness while living happier, fuller lives. The Day of Healing will feature speakers, authors, healing music performers, children’s craft/play area, exhibitors, and countless hands-on demonstrations that present a fascinating world view of holistic health benefits. Speakers/Performers include: Carty Finkbeiner, Mayor of Toledo, Carolyn Agosta, Michael Ellison, Rogers Dance Center, Pat Altvater, Kim Zapf and Steve Marshall, Kelly Brooks, Kerry Patric Clark, Brian Henke, and Dottie Zimmerman.
We feel embracing the relationship between traditional medicine and complementary treatment options will help to contribute to overall health for people today.
We are asking the public to participate in bringing items for the local food banks. This collection will be in memory of Ursula Denisoff who devoted much of her time and care to the Christian Food Pantry in Bowling Green, Ohio.
By coming together in unity, our intention for The Day of Healing will create hope, peace, and joy for the betterment of all.
