Toledo, OH, November 16 – In September, a West Toledo family of 13 received a brand new home through ABC’s hit TV show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”. The makeover was a huge community event, and Toledo cookware company CALPHALON, got involved to donate cookware, bakeware and kitchen tools for the whole family.
With three biological children and eight adopted children, this big-hearted family of 13 was living in a small one-story ranch home without air conditioning. Jackie Frisch, an ordained minister, and Aaron Frisch, a firefighter and paramedic for Toledo’s Fire and Rescue Department were in need of some help.
Hundreds of local volunteers came out to help save the Frisch family from their cramped and deteriorating home. With CALPHALON’s donation, the new house wasn’t the only thing built by hard-working Toledians – many of the kitchen products were as well!
Viewers can watch the amazing story of the Frisch family on”Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” this Sunday, November 16, at 8pm – plus keep an eye out for some gorgeous Calphalon cookware.
