Hospice of Northwest Ohio is offering Pathways – A Spiritual Journey of Grief for six consecutive Tuesdays from February 3 through March 10.

This group, for adults of any faith, will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Hospice of Northwest Ohio’s Toledo Center. Facilitated by Hospice Chaplain Ruth Cunning, topics will include Moving Forward, Cultivating Community, Waiting, Releasing and Pain, People, Pathways.

Says Chaplain Ruth, “Pathways is a sacred journey of the heart. It is a safe place to explore and discover spiritual principles and guidelines that will help you heal and move forward. Know this: You can’t move forward if you’re looking back! It’s good to remember the past; it’s okay to reflect on the past; but it’s not good to regress and dwell in the past. The difference lies in the focus of your remembrance. Come and journey with others who desire to walk this same “sacred journey” with you.”

The group is free and open to any adult in the community who would like to discuss, learn more about and work through the spiritual aspects of grief; whether or not they have had a previous relationship with Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Group size is limited and advance registration is required. To learn more about the group, or to register, call Chaplain Ruth Cunning at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 419-661-4001.

The Toledo Hospice Center is located at 800 South Detroit Avenue, near Arlington. For more information about grief and loss, visit www.hospicenwo.org.
