Toledo-based Point-Of-Entry Marketing agency BusinessVoice earned two of the five MARCE Awards presented at the 2009 On Hold Messaging Association conference held in Atlanta, March 19th through the 21st.

The MARCE Awards are given to OHM providers who achieve “marketing and creative excellence in the production of On Hold Messaging.” (Formerly known as the Holdie, the award has been presented since 2005.)

BusinessVoice earned the Silver MARCE Award for its work on behalf of Amazing Space (Sylvania, Ohio), and a Judge’s Choice award for OHM it created for The Kellermeyer Company, headquartered in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Three audio / marketing professionals judged the competition. Here are a few of their comments on the BusinessVoice entries:

“Superbly written copy and extremely dry humor that was a perfect match for what could’ve been a dull subject. I laughed out loud at points, and if a caller starts with that reaction, it’s a great way to start a conversation.”

“Nice, unexpected copy; catches the ear.”

“Very clever writing and some funny moments. Mocks some conventional clichés and I believe that would endear [the client] to the caller…”

Celebrating 20 years in business throughout 2009, BusinessVoice serves about 6,000 client locations across North America. The agency has earned more than 60 awards for creative and marketing excellence. They provide On Hold Messaging, Point-Of-Purchase Audio, Website Design and Development, Email Marketing, and many other services that help their clients increase customer share and retention.
