Dance – Fun Exercise with Good-Natured Klutzes! May 9

Posted Apr 30th, 2009 by Poe  Category: Arts & Entertainment

Enjoy live music and traditional American dance Saturday, May 9 at the Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Hwy in downtown Rossford. The Cottonwood String Jam Band will play while Tom Allen teaches circle, square, and contra dances. Dances begin slowly, with plenty of practice and instruction. We are not professionals, just good-natured people who want to have fun and preserve a unique bit of American history.

This alcohol-free, family-friendly environment is great for youth groups, senior citizens, and everyone in between. No partner is required; people mostly dance with each other, or sit and enjoy the music. Potluck supper starts at 6:45 p.m., dancing and music from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. Free refreshments during the break! Cost: Adults $7 Students $5 Kids $3.
