TOLEDO – The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that nine-time ARCA RE/MAX Series Champion driver Frank Kimmel will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday, May 15. The game versus Pawtucket begins at 7:00 p.m. The first pitch will take place at approximately 6:45 p.m.

This year, Kimmel is going for his tenth ARCA RE/MAX Series victory at Toledo Speedway. He is currently the all-time Series winner at Toledo’s half-mile short track. Before racing, he is looking forward to spending a night at the ballpark.

“It always comes back to Toledo,” said Kimmel. “I made my first ARCA start at Toledo, my first win came at Toledo, and I have clinched some championships there. I love the track and Toledo fans are great so it’s neat that I get to spend some time with area baseball fans because I really have always liked coming to Toledo.”

Tickets to the May 15 game versus Pawtucket at Fifth Third Field are available by calling 419-725-HENS.

The Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17 at the Toledo Speedway.
