ALMA Dance Experience, LLC is a group of professional musicians and dancers bonded in the study, performance and sharing of traditional West African Drum & Dance and Modern Dance. ALMA exists to celebrate dance and music, to bring dance and music to everyone, to celebrate the non-traditional artist, and to capitalize on the talents each individual brings to the group, to the stage and to the classroom. ALMA is also dedicated to collaboration; working with other artists to build a larger dance and music community.

ALMA Dance Experience has been a company since 2003, but the core of our group has been working together for a decade or more, and among our group members we have multiple decades of professional experience in a wide variety of music, dance, and performance styles. As a group we are committed to artistic excellence through continuous study, performance, and sharing of our art forms.
