Toledo School for the Arts will be celebrating the summer Takin’ Care of Business Program at 8:30 am in the school’s first floor gallery with an Art Sale. This will feature works created by TSA Students who made visual art pieces as part of the summer program.

At 9:00 am is a reception in the Flying Pig Cafe featuring food from Manhattan’s and at 9:30 we will feature performing groups from the program like Glass City Steel, The Urban Jazz Collative, TSA Strings and more…..

Songs for Our Sister
The Mary Ann Russo Memorial Vocal Jazz Scholarship Concert

The areas best musicians gather to pay homage to the great vocalist Mary Ann Russo to keep her music and memory alive. The concert supports a scholarship that provides TSA students with private vocal jazz lessons with a professional jazz singer, as well as a graduation scholarship. Don’t miss greats like Ramona Collins, Lisa Young, Kim Buehler, Sixth Edition and more with a live jazz orchestra for a wonderful tribute to a Toledo Legend.
