We would like to invite you to The Butterfly House this Saturday at 12:30 pm to witness the beginning of our Monarch Butterflies’ migration to Mexico. Come see hundreds of monarch butterflies as they are released into the world to begin their long journey South. Each butterfly has a small tag on its’ wing that will allow us to track their migration. We will have our annual Monarch Release on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at 12:30 pm. There is plenty of free parking available but be sure to be there on time so you don’t miss the release! In the event that it rains, it will be rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27 at 12:30 pm.

After the Monarch Release, we would like to invite you to discover the wonder of The Butterfly House full of colorful butterflies from all around the world, including Malaysia, Costa Rica and Africa. Our butterflies fly freely among exotic plants and flowers that are sure to impress you, easing any stress. Please visit our website at www.butterfly-house.com.

The Corn Maze is also open at The Butterfly House. It is a fun activity, great for kids, parents and grandparents. If you are planning an evening at the Corn Maze, be sure to bring some flashlights!!! This year, we chose the Toledo Walleye Logo to be the design of our maze. We want to create as much excitement about our new Toledo sports team so we thought this design was perfect this season. Check out the Toledo Walleye’s website at www.toledowalleye.com for their season information.
