Scarecrow Contest and Plant Sale

Sunday October 11, noon – 4 pm

Horse-drawn hayrides • Plants for sale • Art activities for kids • Live entertainment • Don’t miss all of the funny and amazing scarecrows

Scarecrow Contest
Show your community involvement, promote your organization, business or school and compete for bragging rights and fun prizes… grab your supplies and start stuffing! You can compete individually or as a group. Judges and festival attendees will vote for their favorite scarecrow during the festival in the following categories: funniest, most original, best representative of the organization or business, best use of recycled material, and people’s choice. Entry is open to everyone and there is no fee to enter. Visit toledogarden.org for more information and to download an entry form!

Fall Plant Sale
Choose from a wide variety of perennials including Oak Openings native plants Saturday October 10, 9 am – 5 pm and Sunday October 11, noon – 4 pm.
