New York natives Justin Smithson and Shawn Smith began their music group Poor Tim mostly as a fluke, but soon afterward their musicality caught the attention of listeners across the nation. This very energetic duo will perform at Lourdes College on Friday, October 23.

Known for bringing classics by Chicago, Simon & Garfunkel, The Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and countless others to the stage, Poor Tim is guaranteed to entertain concert-goers who know and love these songs. Poor Tim has performed alongside Billy Joel drummer Liberty DeVitto, P!nk drummer Mark Schulman as well as members of the James Brown band John Starks and Clyde Stubblefield.

The Poor Tim concert is being held at 8:30 p.m. in the Ebeid Student Center located in the lower level of Delp Hall. Tickets are $10 for the general public or free with a Lourdes College ID. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Becky Tobias, Program Coordinator of Student Activities and Recreation, at 419-517-8946.
