The Toledo Choral Society
The Bowling Green State University Chorus

The Toledo Symphony inaugural presentation of Handel’s beloved Messiah with full orchestra and the combined choruses of the Toledo Choral Society and Bowing Green State University. For close to 90 years, the Toledo Choral Society has presented Handel’s Messiah, and this year the Toledo Symphony will partner with the Society to perform this time-honored tradition. From the delicate melodies of its opening Arias to the magnificent power of the “Great Amen” and “Hallelujah” choruses, Messiah perfectly demonstrates Handel’s mastery of epic works for chorus, orchestra and soloists.
