THE WORKS is an exhibition unlike any other in Toledo has possibley ever seen, featuring a wide variety of artists in age and media, working collaboratively in one room (Bozarts) over the course of the month of January. All work displayed in the exhibition will have been produced individually or collaboratively with perhaps 5-6 artists working on an individual piece, over a one month period of time. There have been evenings with as many as 7 artists feeding off one anothers energy, style, media, imagery and conversation. Stimulating each other and pushing one another to push themselves, their boundaries and at times their patience with one another. This exhibition is not to be missed, with the participating artists on hand to discuss their experiences with one another and the collaborative processes they were a part of at Bozarts. A slide show documenting the month will also be shown for a more intimate look at the progress of works and development of the collaborative experience.
