Madd Poets Society Family Night @ Mott Branch Library
In Celebration of Black History Month

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library joins Madd Poets Society in celebrating
Black History Month with a relaxing and enjoyable evening scheduled from
6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9 at Mott Branch Library, 1085 Dorr St.

Join David Bush, Mott employee and founder of Madd Poets Society, at this FREE event of creativity and poetry. Madd is an acronym for
Making A Direct Difference, and is comprised of talented young poets
throughout Lucas County.

Bush was recently named one of the city’s “Top 25 Toledoans” by the Northwest Ohio Black Media Association in a recent edition of
The Sojourner’s Truth newspaper (January 27, 2010).

Light refreshments will be served.
