Guitar Festival 2010
Bring Your Guitar to Toledo School for the Arts
Guest Artists, Workshops and Give-A-Ways

Join other music fans at Guitar Fest 2010 on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 9 am to 3 pm. Toledo School for the Arts (TSA) has lined up artists, performers, producers, technicians and songwriters for a day of style and technique workshops and performances.

New and special to the event is the chance to win one of rock legend Ted Nugent’s guitars in a $10.00 raffle. Signed by Nugent, the guitar is a Epiphone semi-hollow body electric guitar valued- PRICELESS.

Local, regional and national artists are in the festival line-up. Featured artists include:
• Joe “MoJoe” Boes, Toledo singer/songwriter/teacher heads the blues/jazz/funk fusion band MoJo Boes and His Noble Jones
• Rick Zeithaml of the Nu-Tones
• Nathan Montgomery, experimental percussive acoustic and jazz guitarist from Grand Rapids, Michigan
• Lee Dyament, guitarist and teacher from Wayne State University
• Bill McDevitt, double bass player and member of the Toledo Symphony who plays in The Bridges, is a teacher and a composer
• Randy Sobel of East River Drive, rock guitarist and teacher
• Ken Zuercher of HepCat Revival, jazz, swing and blues guitarist and teacher
• Jilly Mae, guitarist and songwriter
All levels of experience will be covered, as well as rock, blues, jazz, metal, country, bluegrass, folk and more.

A total of 9 workshops are being offered including two special Master Class sessions. Other workshops cover Making It as a Female Guitarist, Playing Technique, Pedal Effects, Set-up and Staging, Song Writing and Six-Strings.

Give-a-ways, raffles, sponsor gifts and door prizes will be offered all day. Registration of $25.00 includes a continental breakfast.
Pizza will be available for purchase at lunch.
