Isn’t Facebook overdone? We are actually seeing people flee web portals for the familiar faces in their own Facebook groups.

* According to Compete.com, average time spent on portal websites is down 21.7 percent over the last year. Users are spending on average 6:30 before heading somewhere else.

* Users spent an average of 4:56 on AOL in May, down from 7:38 in 2009. Yahoo users averaged 7:21 in May versus just over 9 minutes in May 2009. MSN – at 4:42 – was down just 9 seconds.

* According to Compete, in May 2009, Facebook users spent an average of 15 minutes on Facebook. In May 2010, they spent 22:39 – an increase of nearly 50 percent.
