Dr. Gloria Dunnivan, Ph.D., has over twenty years experience in education as a teacher and administrator and has written successful grant proposals for the duration of her career. For this one day workshop she will share proven grant sourcing tactics that can increase the probability to receive locally or federally funded money to assist your cause or organization.

This workshop will uncover how to find corporate, foundation, and federal grants. You will also receive an in-depth review of the various components of grants and instructions on how to write each section. Dr. Dunnivan will also provide practical strategies on how to build relationships with funders and tips on creating a realistic development budget.

Workshop materials will include sample proposals, grant templates and grant writer guides.

Dr. Gloria Dunnivan, Ph.D. has authored and coauthored over 50 grants and has been awarded in total $13 million dollars in funding. She has received grants from local and national foundations including the Ohio Department of Education, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Dr. Dunnivan earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration, K-12 Leadership, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and
Instruction, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Kent State University. She is currently the Director of Dual Enrollment Programs for Kent State University.
