Masterworks Chorale to perform at Reynolds Corners Library

(Released December 9, 2010) – The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is proud to announce a rare library performance by Toledo’s premier chamber choir, Masterworks Chorale, scheduled from 1-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21 at Reynolds Corners Branch Library, 4833 Dorr St.

The mixed voice ensemble Chorale will sing holiday carols during this FREE and open to the public program.

Masterworks Chorale, comprised of 48 mixed voices under the artistic direction of Donna Tozer Wipfli, skillfully performs a diverse variety of choral literature and provides its audiences and members with an enriching and fulfilling musical experience. Founded in the fall of 1972 by Benjamin Locke and his mother, Rose Mary Locke, the Chorale has premiered several compositions by local and world-renowned composers and sponsors annual high school internships and choral workshops. Masterworks is celebrating its 39th season and engages more than 9,000 diverse area residents and visitors each year as audience members, students, outreach recipients and performers.
