My Music is Major Art Show

Posted May 13th, 2011 by Jelise Roberts  Category: Arts & Entertainment

The “My Music is Major” Movement was founded by Jelise A. Roberts to help
raise awareness about the importance of music and art in education.

Today the arts are in danger of being eliminated from our schools, which would leave our children without a way to express themselves creatively. Jelise has a passion for not only music, but art as well. Being both an artist and a musician, she knows the importance of keeping both creative outlets alive for our youth. She is preparing to showcase and sell her works of art. This art showcase is dedicated to her grandfather, the late Charles W. McDaniel, and so many other musicians and artists who helped pave the way for our youth. Proceeds from the sale of Jelise’s artwork will go to the Charles W. McDaniel Scholarship Fund to help young musicians further their musical education. Contributions and donations can be made payable to The Jeremy Lincoln Foundation, 3411 W. Lincolnshire Blvd., Toledo, OH 43606.

Come experience the art expressions of Jelise A. Roberts, enjoy live music,
refreshments, and support our youth! Please contact 419.535.3126 for additional information or questions.
