Live Coverage Online: Obama's Afghan War Drawdown Speech

President Obama will address the nation in a primetime speech Wednesday (6/22/2011) at 8 p.m. ET to announce his decision on the scope and pace of a U.S. troop drawdown in Afghanistan. He is expected to unveil a plan to bring home thousands of troops from the nearly 10-year-old war in an initial phase starting next month.

At 8 p.m. ET, Judy Woodruff will anchor a special PBS presentation of the president’s speech, which will be livestreamed online. The stream will be available for viewing on WGTE’s Knowledgestream website (http://www.knowledgestream.org).
