The Largest Sidewalk Chalk Installation Set for Library

(Released July 13, 2011) – Kick it old school . . . and help create the largest sidewalk chalk installation the city has ever seen with an Etsy Craft Party Toledo next Thursday, July 21 from 1-5 p.m. at Main Library, 325 Michigan St.

As part of Etsy Craft Party Toledo, all ages and artistic skill levels are being called to cover the 429 cement squares known as the Main Library sidewalk. Recall your childhood and get chalky! Bonus – your artwork will be featured during the evening Arts Commission of Great Toledo Art Walk! www.acgt.org This is a family-fun event.
According to www.etsy.com, Etsy Craft Party is a celebration of the wide array of making crafts, supporting all things vintage and an expression of the diversity in your local community. What do you love to make? What are your favorite community organizations and space? How can you band together to craft a positive change in your town? Craft Party is also about connecting with your local art, craft, and design community to celebrate creativity, no matter where in the world you live.

· crAFTER party and Etsy sale – 5-9 p.m., Gallerie 333 at Toledo School for the Arts, 333 14th St.
