(Released September 20, 2011) – The Sylvania Branch Library, 6749 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH, invites you to two very exciting October events where costumes are strongly encouraged!

First, come out and celebrate with us for a Heroes of Olympus, Son of Neptune Party scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4. Join the Sylvania Branch as Rick Riordan fans return to the world of Camp Half-Blood with the release of his second book, The Son of Neptune. Come out and join us for at Sylvania Branch for great games, plenty of demi-gods and lots of fun as we celebrate with a hero party this week.

Our next program, Ghastly Graveyard Gathering! is scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday, October 24. Join us for our not-so-scary, monstrous-sized Halloween bash. Be prepared for ghoulish games, creepy crafts, fiendish food, petrifying prizes and the Ghastly Graveyard!

We encourage costumes at both of our family-fun events! Both programs are FREE and open to the public.
