Toledo Advertising Org Announces FY2012 Officers & Board

The Advertising Club of Toledo has chosen a slate of officers and board members who will represent the 100 year old professional association for the next fiscal year.

Toledo, Ohio September 20, 2011- The Advertising Club of Toledo (ACT) announces its slate of officers and directors for FY 2012. Kathy Jex, In House Communications, has been elected President and Patrick Giammarco, PWG Marketing, has been elected 1st Vice President. Michael Temple, Temple Development, elected 2nd vice President, Tim Speweik, Mail Works, elected Treasurer. A profile of the 14 directors and board members is available at

I’ve made lifelong friends, learned a lot, shared belly laughs and tears, and enjoyed working with the most creative and innovative leaders of the advertising industry in our region.”, said Ms Jex.

(ACT is a professional and social organization for individuals actively involved in the creation and production of advertising and marketing communications materials. The organization was originally formed in 1909 by Toledo’s prominent business leaders and remains dedicated to providing professional education and promoting fellowship among members and the community they serve.

ACT is a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) headquartered in Washington, D.C. and part of the Fifth District, composed of Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country, including the Advertising Club of Toledo.
