The Egypt Experience: Secrets of the Tomb
Through Jan. 8, 2012, Lower Level Egyptian Gallery, Main Museum
More than 150 objects spanning 3,000 years of history are on display, including objects from the Museum’s antiquities collection and from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Field Museum, Indiana University Art Museum and the Oriental Museum Institute of the University of Chicago. Admission is free for TMA members and children under 6 years of age; admission for nonmembers is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors over 65, and $5 for students ages 6 to 22. The exhibition is made possible by the generosity of TMA members and with support in part from Taylor Cadillac, Buckeye CableSystem and the sustainable grant program of the Ohio Arts Council.

Art Hours
Create your own glass objects during these one-hour sessions at the Glass Pavilion®. Buy tickets ($15 members/$25 nonmembers; no refunds) in person or by phone during Museum hours starting the Tuesday before each session. Adults and children 14 and older accompanied by an adult are welcome. Call 419-254-5771, ext. 7448.

Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28: 10 p.m., meet in Little Theater
With a flashlight and a guide, see what the Toledo Museum of Art is like when the lights are all out. Call or visit the Information Desk for tickets (419-255-8000 ext. 7448) starting two weeks prior to each tour. Tickets are $5 for Museum members/$10 nonmembers. Limited space available.

FREE Halloween at the Museum
Oct. 30: 1–3 p.m., Main Museum
The Toledo Museum of Art galleries become an enchanted land of mummies, fortunetellers, princesses and other characters. Costumed staff members re-create works of art as you follow a map to find special places in the Museum. Come dressed as your favorite character.

FREE Family Center Activities: Masks and Marionettes
Oct. 30: Noon to 5:30 p.m.
Make and decorate your own mask or marionette using a variety of materials.

Family Concert: Halloween Spooktacular
Oct. 30: 3 p.m., Peristyle Theater
The Toledo Symphony performs its annual Spooktacular Concert in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. For concert tickets, call the symphony at 419-246-8000.
