THE ZEPF CENTER IS SERVING UP AN ACE TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR MENTAL ILLNESS

The Zepf Center will host its 5th Annual “Serve Up an Ace” tennis fundraiser and silent auction on Friday, March 16, 2012. The event will take place from 7pm to 11pm at Laurel Hill Swim and Tennis Club.

The fundraiser will include tennis for all levels, a silent auction, astrology by Janet Amid, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, music provided by Sounds of Music, and a $2500 cash raffle! For those wishing not to play tennis, there will be plenty of activities, prizes and food for all to enjoy.

This event won the USTA/Midwest Fundraiser of the Year award in 2008 and then again in 2010. Proceeds from “Serve Up an Ace” will go to the Elizabeth A. Zepf Foundation in support of mental health recovery and vocational development for Zepf Center consumers. The Zepf Center is a local non-profit organization which provides behavioral health and vocational services to youth and adults with severe and persistent mental illness in Lucas County. The center and foundation are named for Toledoan Elizabeth A. Zepf, a staunch advocate for consumers or citizens with mental illness.

Admission is $30 per person, $50 per couple and 60 percent is tax deductible. For tickets and event information contact Christina Baskey at 419-841-7701 ext. 2209 or register online at www.zepfcenter.org. Show your love and help a worthy cause.
