Toledo, Ohio, May 18, 2012 — The crew from the “Andrew Z in the Morning Show – The People’s Show” is set to host the 1st Annual Toledo’s Most Eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette Date Auction to benefit local charity, Elias Adin’s Comforting Hearts, Inc. The event will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at The Blarney Bullpen, 601 Monroe Street in Downtown Toledo. Dates with ten bachelors and bachelorettes will be auctioned off to raise funds to help bring comfort to children with cancer.

The event will begin at 7:00 pm with a dessert buffet. Cocktails will be available at the cash bar. Among the list of singles participating in the live auction is “Andrew Z in the Morning” radio personality and musician, Calen Savidge. Others include University of Toledo football players and Toledo area professionals. Attendees will bid for fully-paid, dream dates with the bachelor/bachelorette of choice. The array of dates includes dinner, tennis lessons, a Toledo Mud Hens game, and a Toby Keith concert. The highest bidder of the night will receive tickets to a Jason Aldean concert along with backstage meet and greet passes. Aside from the date auction, a pair of Brad Paisley concert tickets and a pair of Miranda Lambert concert tickets will also be auctioned during the event.

The Elias Adin’s Comforting Hearts, Inc. charity was founded by Kele Pallitta and family who lost their seven month old son, Elias Adin, to a cancerous brain tumor in 2008. In memory of their son, the Pallitta family has turned tragedy into triumph. The charity provides care packages to children in the oncology units at Mercy Children’s Hospital and ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital. Care packages are also delivered to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, efforts are underway to start an annual scholarship fund for local medical students. Elias Adin’s Comforting Hearts, Inc. is sponsored by Commodore Way in Perrysburg, Ohio and Cancer Connection of NW Ohio.

Event tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. For additional information, visit or call 419-819-8065. All proceeds will benefit Elias Adin’s Comforting Hearts, Inc.
