(Toledo, OH) A free seminar for expectant parents on how to have a new baby and man’s best friend live together safely is being offered. “Dog and Baby Safety Seminar” is being presented by John E. Brown, CPDT-KSA, certified dog trainer. It will be held Sunday, June 3rd from 12-2 p.m. at Pups Paradise Dog Resort 3618 King Rd. Toledo, Ohio. This free seminar will help expectant parents learn what behaviors to watch for from their pet and how to introduce the new baby, routines and equipment to their dog.

“Unfortunately we hear news stories of babies being hurt or killed by the family dog,” stated John E. Brown. “Many times new parents believe their dog is a “good” dog and “good” dogs don’t bite,” continued Brown. “But all dogs communicate with body language and use that to convey stress, fear, anxiety or pain. Owners need to understand that body language and address it before it becomes a problem.” The Dog and Baby Safety Seminar will provide owners with the proper tools to read behavior signs, learn the Do’s and Don’ts of dogs and babies and gain knowledge on how to help the entire family live together safely and happily.

To register for the class, go to Space is limited so parents are encouraged to register early.
