Sylvania Area Chamber Presents “Almost Oktoberfest”

The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce and Heidelberg Distributing announce the inaugural event “Almost Oktoberfest” to be held at Toledo Harley Davidson, 7960 W. Central Avenue on September 22, 2012 from 4PM – Midnight.

This event will feature unique tastings from micro-breweries from all over the country – along with crowd favorite Coors. Event goers will be able to vote for their favorite brew with trophies handed out for people’s choice that evening. Country star Shooter Jennings is the headline entertainment and which will also include local and regional bands.

There will be the best in entertainment, great food from Chili-Jack’s, Sonic, Big C’s, BBQ Smokehouse and it is anticipated that the one-day event will play host to over 4000. Vin Dever’s Autohaus of Sylvania, event sponsor, who will be hosting the 3rd annual European Car Show on September 23, will also have some fabulous models on display at the event. Harley Davidson will be open and motorcycles will be showcased.

Tickets to the event are $10.00 and the proceeds from the event are used to promote Chamber initiatives including education scholarships, economic development, area beautification, retail assistance and grants to local service organizations such as the Sylvania Athletic Foundation.
