Tickets are still available for Rock N Roar, the summer’s wildest dance party, at the Toledo Zoo. Two bands plus a DJ add up to one great night for party people, so get ready to get your boogie on — Friday, August 3, from 7 p.m. to midnight.

From the ’70s groove to the sounds of the ‘80s and ‘90s, plus your Top 40 favorites, you’re sure to hear tunes that set your feet in motion with East River Drive and The Nu Tones. In addition, a DJ from Sounds of Music will keep the music spinning on the Africa! Overlook. Your Rock N Roar ticket covers all stages.

Tickets must be purchased in advance by visiting www.toledozoo.org/roar or by calling 419.385.5721, ext. 2091. You must be 21 or over to attend; your ID will be checked at the door. Tickets are $20 for Zoo members and $25 for non-members. Reserved tables of ten start at $300.

Rock N Roar features several cash bars and grill foods available for purchase. This “summeriffic” night is presented by KeyBank, with major support provided by Yark Automotive Group. Media sponsors are The Blade, Cumulus Toledo and Lamar; supporting sponsors are Buckeye CableSystem, Kroger and The Andersons. One-hundred percent of Rock N Roar’s net proceeds support the Zoo’s mission to inspire others to care for animals and conserve the natural world.

This summer, the Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission) and is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. For more information, please visit toledozoo.org or call (419) 385-4040. Lucas County residents are admitted free of charge each Monday from 10 a.m. to noon. ID showing proof of residency is required.

The Toledo Zoo is committed to inspiring others to join in caring for animals and conserving the natural world. As part of that mission, The Toledo Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), a leader in global wildlife conservation. AZA member institutions are dedicated to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for visitors and a better future for all living things.
