Toledo, OH August 21, 2012 – Google’s Places now offers a whole lot more for the business owner to get excited about. With the change to Google+ Local businesses gained the ability to showcase their restaurant, store, or most any commercial location by allowing potential customers to take a peek inside their premises via their smart phone, tablet, or computer using Street View technology.
While Google Places allowed business owners to post hours, put up a few pictures and even embed YouTube videos, by inviting a Google Trusted Photographer into your place of business, now you’ll be able to show exactly what the customer would see the moment they walk through your front door.
In N.W. Ohio that Google Trusted Photographer is Todd Pillars of Local360Photos. Todd has been selected and trained by Google to shoot and create 360-degree interactive panoramas that can be seen in Google Maps, Google+ Local pages, and can be embedded into the participating company’s website or social media profiles.
“If you’re familiar with Street View, you’ll know how this works. I pick up where Street View currently ends. I come into your place and spend about an hour to capture the essence, the vibrancy of your business. You won’t have to try to explain over the phone what your place is like ever again.”
Most retail and service based business are eligible to take advantage of this premium service, which also includes a number of still images and assistance setting up your Google+ Local page, to attract new customers. Some businesses that have include; restaurants, retail stores, beauty salons, spas, auto dealerships, dental, chiropractic and massage therapy offices, and health clubs.
