Toledo, OH, August 27, 2012 – The Advertising Club of Toledo and the International Boxing Club (IBC) are joining forces to present Toledo Celebrity Fight Night, a fundraising event featuring boxing matches between local media members, business owners and first responders. The event will be held Thursday, September 13, at the International Boxing Club, 525 Earlwood in Oregon, with doors opening at 6 pm and fights beginning at 7.
Celebrity boxers include “Smoking” Joe Nugent from WTVG sports, “Mr. Radio, BIG BAD” Andrew Z from Star 105. Bouts include Marlene “Tank” Metti, Toledo Fire Dept. vs. Stephanie “The Real Deal” Meinke, a Lucas County Deputy, and the main event, the Ultimate Steve Contest with Steve ” See Ya in a KIA” Taylor of Taylor Automotive Group vs. “Scuba” Steve Braun from Car Stereo One.
Tickets are available for $50 each, which includes a gourmet buffet and 2 drink tickets, and are available online at adclubtoledo.org or from the contacts listed above. Ringside tables of 10 with bottle service by the Glass City Rollers are available for $1000. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available.
Toledo Celebrity Fight Night is to benefit IBC, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping
underprivileged youth in the Toledo area to succeed in school and become champions in life.
