Call For Entries For Canstruction Toledo

It starts with one can to change the world. Canstruction, a charity committed to ending hunger, is using ‘one can’ as a catalyst for change. Canstruction Toledo 2012 puts a visual spotlight on hunger while showcasing the Northwest Ohio design community’s best and brightest. Teams design and build a structure made entirely from canned food within a 10’x10’x8′ space. At the end of the competition all canned goods are donated to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank.

Canstruction will be held October 24 – 29 at the Seagate Convention Center. Hosted by AIA Toledo, Technical Society of Toledo, IIDA – Ohio Kentucky Chapter, NWO Chapter of USGBC, BGSU AIAS, UT College of Engineering. Organized under the auspices of the Society of Design Administration.
