Research Your War of 1812 and Civil War Ancestors

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library presents two exciting programs at Main Library, 325 Michigan St., for families interested in researching their family history. The Library presents Taking Steps to Research Your War of 1812 Ancestors on Saturday,October 20 in the McMaster Center, and Taking Steps to Research Your Civil War Ancestors on Saturday, October 27 in the Huntington Room.

· Research Your War of 1812 Ancestors – (Saturday, October 20 – 10 a.m. – Noon) McMaster Center: Join professional genealogist and lecturer Derek Davey as he discusses the processes, resources and tips involved in researching your ancestors who fought in the War of 1812.

· Research Your Civil War Ancestors – (Saturday, October 27 – 10 a.m. – Noon) Huntington Room: Join professional genealogist and lecturerDerek Davey as he discusses the processes, resources and tips involved in researching your ancestors who fought in the Civil War.

These programs are FREE and open to the public. FREE on-site parking
