The Historic Westmoreland Neighborhood along with the Toledo Northwest Ohio Food Bank is fighting hunger in Northwest Ohio this holiday season. The Historic Westmoreland Neighborhood will host a Holiday Home Tour and Food Drive on Sunday, December 9, 2012 between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. Eight homeowners will graciously open the doors to their beautifully decorated homes and share the unique architecture and history that make up the Westmoreland Historic District. Westmoreland, located about a mile east of the University of Toledo, is known for its architectural diversity.
Tickets for the event are $15 per person and are available at local businesses (see below) and may also be purchased via the Westmoreland Association Web Site using PayPal at www.westmorelandassociation.org. All food donations and a portion of the net proceeds benefit the Toledo Northwest Ohio Food Bank. The event will also feature holiday cookies and a cookie cookbook prepared by the homeowners on tour available for purchase at a small concession area.
