Women: Reclaiming Our Health!

Join several community organizations for an evening program at Main Library, 325 Michigan St., on how women can live healthier lifestyles.

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library has partnered with Fabulously Fit ™ , The Toledo Chapter of The Links, Inc., Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc., N-Sync, LLC, and the University of Toledo’s Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women to bring you the exciting programWomen – Reclaiming Our Health . . . Together We Can Make It Happen! scheduled Tuesday, October 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. in Main’s McMaster Center.

Heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension are health risks that are associated with obesity. With information and resources women can reduce some of the risks that occur when living an unhealthy lifestyle.

“The purpose of this program will be to present how women can live a healthier lifestyle by providing information on the benefits of healthier food choices, of being physically fit; and how a variety of exercises and fitness routines can be fun,” said Deborah Barnett, of N-Sync, LLC.

The collaboration will highlight information and resources that will assist women and families in creating a healthier lifestyle through nutrition, exercise and activities.

Please wear comfortable clothing. Extreme demonstrations and Line Dancing! Light refreshments will be provided. FREE parking for all attendees.
