Knitting Be TWEEN the Ages

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Heatherdowns Branch Library, 3265 Glanzman Rd, is calling on all experienced adult knitters and tweens (9-13-years-old) for intergenerational knitting. The purpose of this series, Knitting Be TWEEN the Ages, is to encourage literacy and intergenerational mentorship through knitting.

The series is scheduled to take place weekly from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning January 7 through March 25. This series will be conducted in association with the Toledo Branch of the American Association of University Women.

Yarn and knitting patterns supplied but please bring your own needles. Each tween new to knitting will learn to read a basic pattern with assistance of an experienced knitter.
