Educators Expect 400+ Visitors to Excellent-Rated Arts Charter

TOLEDO, OH- Toledo School for the Arts’ Open House will be held this Saturday. Open House is THE event for students and their families who seek a rigorous academic curriculum without sacrificing the artistic opportunities that ignite creative thinking. Rated “Excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education for seven consecutive years, TSA is open to any Ohio student grades 6-12 absolutely tuition free.

The TSA Open House begins at 10am on January 26th and includes extensive student-led school tours, a session with our Director and Board President, the opportunity to meet our teachers, a Student Organization fair, performances, gallery exhibitions, refreshments with TSA Parents’ Organization, application drop-off, and time with Enrollment Counselors.

Last year TSA welcomed approximately 300 families to this popular event, which is the culmination of the school’s enrollment season. This year over 400 visitors are anticipated, as TSA has announced significant growth at the high school level- accepting up to 60 additional students. Applications are accepted now through February 6th for the 2013-14 school year, and a lottery will be held on March 1st for admissions.

Parents of TSA students often remark on feeling like they have “truly won the lottery.” Bring your family to Open House and find out why.
