Posted Feb 15th, 2013 by Nathan Mattimoe  Category: Arts & Entertainment, Toledo.com

You Are Here Toledo was a collaboration between AIGA Toledo and The Arts Commission that saw 100 “dots” placed around the city of Toledo as a temporary public art project. In addition to the works, which featured artwork and design by local creatives, a mobile app and website were created to foster a scavenger hunt of sorts throughout the city to discover the various locations of the works of art.

In the March 2013 issue of How Magazine, the mobile app and website were acknowledged as one of just 20 “outstanding” international design projects. Only 242 projects were accepted for consideration out of more than 1000 submissions worldwide.

The Arts Commission is happy to arrange interview requests of to provide additional photos of the project.
